Classic spaghetti with homemade meatballs in rich marinara sauce

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C
  2. Mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
  3. Form 2-inch meatballs
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes or pan-sear until browned
  5. Simmer meatballs in marinara sauce for 10 minutes
  6. Cook spaghetti according to package directions
  7. Serve spaghetti topped with meatballs and sauce

Notes

  • For crispier meatballs, pan-sear before baking
