- 500 g ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 onion finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Glaze: 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape mixture into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix glaze ingredients.
- Spread half the glaze over meatloaf.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove and spread remaining glaze on top.
- Return to oven and bake another 15–20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.

- For a keto version, replace breadcrumbs with almond flour.
- For a low-calorie version, use lean ground turkey instead of beef.
- Letting the meatloaf rest ensures juicier slices.
