Light and fluffy cake brownies that combine the best of cake and brownies in one delicious homemade dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (115 g) butter
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup (125 g) flour
  • 1/3 cup (40 g) cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Melt butter and mix with sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk into wet mixture.
  6. Pour batter into greased pan.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter texture, do not overmix the batter.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Serve warm with ice cream for extra indulgence.
