1 1/2 cups (300g) light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 cups (150g) diced apples (peeled and cored)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until it turns golden brown and smells nutty. Let it cool slightly.
In a bowl, whisk brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the brown butter and mix.
Fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
Stir in diced apples.
Pour batter into the pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool before cutting into squares.
