  • 500 g ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the beef mixture and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta, half of the meat sauce, half of the ricotta, and half of the mozzarella.
  6. Repeat the layers, then top with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
