Ingredients

  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • Assorted toppings (sprinkles, crushed nuts, coconut flakes)

Instructions

  1. Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place in a bowl.
  2. Heat the heavy cream and butter in a saucepan until just boiling.
  3. Pour the hot cream mixture over the chocolate and let sit for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir until smooth, then add vanilla extract.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours until firm.
  6. Scoop small portions and roll into balls.
  7. Coat each truffle in cocoa powder or powdered sugar.
