Delicious and colorful M&M cookies perfect for Valentine’s Day. These soft and chewy cookies are packed with M&M candies for a festive treat.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Valentine’s Day M&M candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the M&M candies.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • For extra color, press a few additional M&M candies onto the tops of the cookies right after baking.
  • You can use any seasonal M&M variety for different holidays.
