A spicy and flavorful chicken soup bowl with Sriracha for a kick of heat. Perfect for cold days or when you need a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 celery stalk, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Cook until softened.
  3. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the pot.
  7. Stir in Sriracha and ginger. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
