Description

A fiery and flavorful pasta dish with succulent shrimp in a spicy arrabbiata sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Return shrimp to the pan and stir to coat with sauce. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  6. Toss in cooked pasta and mix well. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
  • Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
  • Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
