Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix apples, raisins, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  4. Spread the apple mixture evenly over the pastry, leaving a border.
  5. Fold the edges over the filling and roll tightly.
  6. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing.
