- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3 minutes per side.
- Stir in spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until cheese melts.
- Add cooked penne to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

- Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if you prefer a lighter sauce.
