A quick and flavorful one-pan meal featuring shrimp, orzo, and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup orzo
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add orzo and toast for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes until orzo is tender.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and cooked shrimp. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best results.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
- Substitute vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
