Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and garlic, sautéing until mushrooms are tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked shrimp and pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and dried parsley. Serve immediately.
