Description

A creamy and flavorful shrimp and mushroom Alfredo spaghetti dish that’s easy to make and perfect for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti: cooked al dente
  • 1 lb shrimp: peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz mushrooms: sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic: minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper: to taste
  • 1 tsp dried parsley: for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and garlic. Cook until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with dried parsley before serving.

  • Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
  • Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if you prefer a lighter sauce.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
