- 8 oz macaroni pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, whisk flour into the remaining butter to make a roux. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the cheese sauce. Stir to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Serve hot.

- Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
- Adjust cheese quantity for desired creaminess.
- For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
