Description

A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring shrimp and a zesty lemon sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in lemon juice and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits.
  4. Reduce heat to low and whisk in butter until melted. Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet, tossing to coat.
  5. Stir in parsley and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately.
