A quick and flavorful pasta dish with shrimp, wild mushrooms, and garlic tossed with bowtie pasta.

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups wild mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add wild mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use a mix of wild mushrooms for deeper flavor.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to control spiciness.
  • Fresh parsley adds brightness, but basil works too.
