- 8 oz pasta: any shape you prefer
- 1 lb shrimp: peeled and deveined
- 2 cups spinach: fresh
- 4 oz cream cheese: softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic: minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes: optional
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp to the pan and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same pan, add spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Return shrimp to the pan and mix with the sauce. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor and texture.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if you prefer a lighter sauce.
