A creamy and flavorful dish featuring shrimp and roasted garlic alfredo sauce served with cheese-filled tortellini.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 3 cloves roasted garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add roasted garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add cooked tortellini and shrimp to the sauce. Toss gently to coat.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic roasted in olive oil for best flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • For extra richness, add a splash of white wine to the sauce.
