Ingredients

- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Pour heavy cream and chicken broth into the skillet, stirring well.
- Add lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and add cooked pasta.
- Toss everything together and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
