Shrimp and Creamy Cajun Gnocchi

A rich and flavorful dish combining tender shrimp with creamy Cajun-spiced gnocchi.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb gnocchi
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning, stirring well.
  5. Add gnocchi and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
  • Fresh gnocchi cooks faster than packaged gnocchi.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
