Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta: cooked al dente
- 1 lb shrimp: peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus: trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic: minced
- 1 lemon: zested and juiced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp parsley: chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add shrimp, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same pan, add asparagus and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Return shrimp to the pan. Add cooked pasta, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Toss to combine.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- You can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
