Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Mix the red velvet cake mix with water and oil as per package instructions.
- Pour the batter into cupcake liners and bake for 15 minutes.
- Let the cupcakes cool completely.
- Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping.
- Spoon the cheesecake mixture onto the cooled cupcakes.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
