  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and food coloring.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until combined.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Roll cookie dough into balls, flatten, add a teaspoon of cheesecake filling, and fold edges to seal.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool before serving.
