Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a madeleine pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, pumpkin spice, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat eggs and sugar until pale and thick. Mix in vanilla.
  4. Gently fold dry ingredients into egg mixture.
  5. Add melted butter and mix until just combined.
  6. Spoon batter into molds, filling 3/4 full.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  8. Cool in pan 2 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
