- 2 Cornish hens (about 1.5 lbs each)
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp grated orange zest
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Rinse and pat dry the Cornish hens.
- In a bowl, mix orange juice, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, orange zest, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the glaze over the hens, reserving some for basting.
- Place hens on a roasting pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, basting occasionally with remaining glaze.
- Check internal temperature reaches 165°F before serving.
