Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from the pan.
  4. Add garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return the shrimp to the pan and add the cooked pasta. Toss to coat everything evenly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
