Ingredients
Scale
2 lbs chicken wings: fresh or thawed
1 cup pomegranate juice: 100% pure
1/4 cup honey: for sweetness
2 tbsp soy sauce: reduced sodium
1 tbsp garlic powder: for flavor
1 tsp salt: to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper: freshly ground
1 tbsp olive oil: for brushing
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Place them on the baking sheet.
Brush the wings lightly with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
While the wings bake, make the glaze. In a saucepan, combine pomegranate juice, honey, and soy sauce. Simmer over medium heat until reduced by half, about 10-12 minutes.
Toss the baked wings in the glaze until fully coated. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes after glazing.
Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds and chopped parsley for a festive look.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
