- 200g dark chocolate: finely chopped
- 100ml heavy cream
- 1 tbsp instant coffee: dissolved in 1 tsp hot water
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter: softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 50g cocoa powder: for dusting
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it just starts to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for 1 minute.
- Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Add the dissolved coffee, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours or until firm enough to shape.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, then coat them in cocoa powder.
- Chill for another 30 minutes before serving.

- If the mixture is too soft, chill for longer before shaping.
- Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
