- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add garlic, onion, carrots, and celery. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add chicken and cook until no longer pink.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add lemon juice, basil, salt, pepper, and turmeric.
