Juicy shredded chicken tacos made with simple ingredients for a quick and flavorful meal.

  • 500 g boneless chicken breast
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 tortillas
  • Toppings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in a saucepan or pot.
  2. Add chicken broth, taco seasoning, cumin, and garlic powder.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 20–25 minutes until chicken is tender and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken and shred using two forks.
  5. Return shredded chicken to the pot and mix with remaining juices.
  6. Warm tortillas and fill with shredded chicken and toppings of choice.
