Hot honey roasted cauliflower is a delicious and easy side dish with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy flavors. It’s crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and pairs well with many main courses.

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Spread the cauliflower evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Drizzle hot honey over the cauliflower and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Roast for another 5-10 minutes until caramelized and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a keto version, use sugar-free hot honey substitute.
  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
