- 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tbsp red food coloring (gel)
- 2 batches cream cheese frosting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prep pans.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs, vanilla, then beat again.
- Mix dry ingredients and add half.
- Add buttermilk, vinegar, and food coloring.
- Add remaining dry ingredients and combine.
- Pour into pans and bake 25–30 mins.
- Cool and level cakes.
- Frost and stack layers.
- Decorate with blood drips and spooky toppings.
