Description

Spooky, creamy, and festive deviled eggs styled as pumpkins, spiders, and eyeballs for the perfect Halloween appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale

12 hard boiled eggs peeled, halved, whites and yolks separated

½ cup mayonnaise

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

½ teaspoon kosher salt

Purple food coloring + sliced pimento-stuffed green olives

Orange food coloring + curly parsley

Green food coloring + black sesame seeds

Pitted whole black olives


Instructions

1. Mash yolks and mix with mayo, mustard, and salt.

2. Divide mixture into bowls and color with food coloring as desired.

3. For eyeballs: fill whites with purple mixture and top with olive slices.

4. For pumpkins: fill whites with orange mixture, carve lines, and add parsley.

5. For spooky green: fill whites with green mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

6. For spiders: fill whites with plain mixture, top with olive spiders.

Notes

Chill before serving. Use food-safe gel colors for the best effect. Not freezer-friendly.
