Fudgy Halloween Candy Brownies made with leftover Halloween candy. Chewy, rich, and filled with crunchy candy bar bites for the ultimate treat.
½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
1 tablespoon oil (canola, vegetable, grapeseed, or coconut in liquid form)
1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (dark preferred)
¼ teaspoon salt (plus extra pinch of flaky salt for topping)
2 teaspoons espresso powder (optional)
1 ½ cups leftover Halloween candy, roughly chopped
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a square pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter, oil, and sugar for 2–3 minutes until smooth.
3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix on low until combined.
4. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt, then fold into wet mixture.
5. Fold in 1 cup chopped candy and spread batter into pan.
6. Sprinkle remaining candy on top.
7. Bake 25–30 minutes until the center is set. Cool completely before slicing.
Use a mix of chocolates, caramel candies, and crunchy bars for best results.
Chill before slicing for neat squares.
Optional: sprinkle flaky sea salt on top before serving.
