  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice butter-side down in skillet.
  3. Add cheese, tomato slices (season lightly with salt and pepper), then another slice of cheese.
  4. Top with second slice of bread butter-side up.
  5. Cook over medium heat until golden brown.
  6. Flip and cook until cheese melts.
