Easy homemade ground beef tacos with simple ingredients and quick preparation.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 taco shells
  • Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until softened (about 3–4 minutes).
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  5. Drain excess fat.
  6. Stir in taco seasoning and water.
  7. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until mixture thickens.
  8. Warm taco shells in oven or microwave.
  9. Spoon beef mixture into shells and top with desired toppings.
  10. Serve immediately.
