A modern twist on the classic Chicken Parmesan, this deconstructed version is easier to make and just as delicious. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken fillets
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken fillets with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5 minutes per side until golden.
  4. Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Top with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot.
