A wholesome twist on the classic caramel apple, made with naturally sweet Medjool dates, rich chocolate, and roasted peanuts.

Ingredients

1 Large Apple

9 Medjool Dates, pitted

½ cup Chocolate Chips, melted

½ teaspoon Coconut Oil

¼ cup Roasted, Salted Peanuts, chopped

Instructions

1. Pit the dates, place them on plastic wrap, cover with parchment paper, and roll flat.

2. Place the apple in the center, wrap the flattened dates around it, and remove the wrap.

3. Insert a popsicle stick into the apple.

4. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.

5. Chop peanuts and place them in a bowl.

6. Dip apple into melted chocolate, roll in peanuts, and place on parchment paper.

7. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed within 24 hours for maximum freshness.

For variety, swap peanuts for pistachios or shredded coconut.
