A simple and delicious slow-cooked chicken dish with a creamy garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. Place chicken in the crockpot.
  3. In a bowl, mix chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  5. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  6. Before serving, stir in parmesan cheese.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the crockpot 30 minutes before serving.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
