  • 3/4 cup (170 g) butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (340 g) chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter and sugars until smooth.
  4. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop thin spoonfuls onto baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and crisp.
  9. Cool completely to allow cookies to become crispy.
