Description

A creamy and flavorful shrimp Alfredo rotini dish that combines succulent shrimp with rich Alfredo sauce and tender rotini pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked rotini pasta and mix well.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • For a thinner sauce, add a splash of pasta water.
