Description
A rich and creamy mushroom chicken bake that’s easy to prepare and full of flavor. Perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms and garlic until soft, about 3 minutes.
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Place chicken in a baking dish. Pour the mushroom cream sauce over it.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can use any type of mushrooms you prefer.
- For extra richness, add a splash of white wine to the sauce.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
