Description
A rich and spicy pasta dish featuring tender shrimp in a creamy chipotle sauce.
Ingredients

- 8 oz pasta: cooked al dente
- 1 lb shrimp: peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic: minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo: finely chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley: chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream, chipotle peppers, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
- Simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
- Add cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust chipotle peppers for more or less heat.
- Substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
- Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
