Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add cooked shrimp and linguine to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
