Description
A moist and fragrant cinnamon swirl loaf cake with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix well.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Pour half the batter into the pan. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture on top.
- Add remaining batter. Swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes. Let cool.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze. Drizzle over cooled cake.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg.
