Description

A festive Christmas snowman cheese ball with pretzel carrots is a fun and delicious appetizer for holiday gatherings. This creamy, savory cheese ball is shaped like a snowman and decorated with pretzel sticks as carrots for a cute and edible centerpiece.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 12 pretzel sticks
  • 2 black olives, sliced
  • 1 small piece of red bell pepper, for the scarf

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two portions, one slightly larger for the base and one smaller for the head.
  3. Shape the larger portion into a ball and place it on a serving plate. Shape the smaller portion into a ball and place it on top of the base to form the snowman.
  4. Gently press pretzel sticks into the lower part of the snowman’s head to resemble a carrot nose.
  5. Use sliced black olives for the eyes and buttons.
  6. Cut a thin strip of red bell pepper and wrap it around the neck area to create a scarf.
  7. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the base for a snowy effect.
  8. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, let the cream cheese soften at room temperature before mixing.
  • If the mixture is too sticky, chill for 15 minutes before shaping.
  • Use gluten-free pretzels if needed.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
