Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked fettuccine and mix until well combined.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
