Delicious apple fritters coated with a sweet brown sugar glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  2. Beat eggs and milk together, then stir into dry ingredients.
  3. Fold in diced apples.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 375°F.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  6. Drain fritters on paper towels.
  7. Melt brown sugar, butter, and water in a saucepan to make glaze.
  8. Drizzle glaze over warm fritters.
