- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Toss apples with cinnamon and nutmeg. Fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour filling over crust. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is almost set.
- Cool in the pan on a wire rack. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, blend the apples into a puree before adding.
- Top with caramel sauce or whipped cream if desired.
